Certification Applications and other Regulatory Filings
TMI's consultants prepare and file the applications required for initial certification or registration at the
Federal Communications Commission and in every state jurisdiction, for all types of telecommunications
providers, including competitive local exchange companies, interexchange resellers or facilities-based
carriers, operator service providers, inmate service providers and payphone providers.

Negotiation of Interconnection and Commercial Agreements
A key element of the operations of a competitive local exchange is its relationship with the underlying incumbent
local exchange carrier, which is typically memorialized in an interconnection agreement and/or commercial agreement.
These contractual agreements define the rates, terms and conditions for interconnection between the two carriers,
the purchase of network elements, 911 and directory obligations, and other critical aspects of a CLEC's operations.
TMI consultants can assist CLECs in reviewing, comparing, and negotiating or opting into interconnection and/or
commercial agreements with incumbent local exchange companies. Our consulting staff has direct experience in
